As well as promoting and supporting the Playday
2008 campaign, Persil is committed to championing the benefits of a
more free childhood through the launch of their new campaign
'Every child has the right'.
A message from Persil:
Persil understands that mums want to help their children to
enjoy all the best bits of being a kid and really make the most of
their childhood – whether it’s through play, exploration,
adventure, self-expression, unleashing their imaginations, trying
something new or simply revisiting an old favourite. And, of
course, some mess will be involved – whether it’s the muddy
evidence of an exciting bike ride or the result of getting creative
with finger paints! That’s why we’ve started ‘every child has
the right to be a child’ as a way of inspiring mums to really
make the most of those childhood years.
To kick off, we’ll be launching the Persil Free Play
Initiative 2008, which aims to increase the amount of free
play children take part in. We want to see kids throughout the UK
having a great time and really learning and developing through
unstructured play.
As part of this, we’ll also be supporting Playday on 6 August
2008, as well as bringing you tons of fun tips, activities and
exciting events throughout summer 2008.
