Playday is the annual celebration of
children's right to play.
On Playday and throughout the summer of 2008, thousands of
children, young people and communities will get out and play at
hundreds of locally organised events across the UK.
Playday 2008 is on Wednesday 6 August.
The campaign theme this year is Give us a go!
The campaign calls for children to be allowed challenging
and adventurous play opportunities and aims to shake off the
'cotton wool' culture that can limit children’s play.

Register your Playday celebrations to receive
additional support and resources.
When you register, you can also choose to publish your event
details online to increase publicity.
Playday posters are now available online.
Posters, postcards, stickers, t-shirts and more will be sent to
registered Playday event organisers in the coming weeks.
