What’s your adventure? terms and
conditions
Please read the following terms and conditions carefully as they
govern entry to the What’s your adventure?
consultation:
NCB - means National Children’s Bureau
Respondents - means a respondent to the What’s your
adventure? drawing consultation
Winner - means the person to whom NCB awards the digital
camera.
What’s your adventure?
- By submitting an image, respondents agree that their image may
be used unrestricted in Playday publicity in printed, online and
other formats.
- The closing date for submitting images is Wednesday 8
October 2008. Images must be received by 23:59:59 on
Wednesday 8 October 2008(UK time).
- The What’s your adventure? consultation is
open to those aged 18 and under.
- Images should represent how you have adventures and play
to the max.
- Respondents to the What’s your adventure?
consultation will be entered into a free prize draw to win an
digital camera.
- Each respondent to the What’s your adventure?
consultation will receive one entry to the draw.
- More than one image may be submitted per respondent but entry
to the draw is limited to one entry per person.
Draw
- The Winner will be drawn at random by NCB staff shortly after
the closing date and will be contacted on Wednesday 15
October 2008 via the contact details given on their
submission.
- The Winner will be required to notify NCB of their acceptance
of the prize immediately. In the event of non-acceptance, or if the
person is not contactable by phone by noon on 22
October 2008 , NCB reserves the right to reallocate the prize
awarded to the next randomly drawn valid entry.
- The Winner waives irrevocably all rights arising in and over
any prize not accepted under clause 9.
- The prize will be posted out recorded delivery to the postal
address given by the Winner by telephone when they accept the
prize. NCB accepts no responsibility for the loss or delay of prize
being sent out.
- Only the Winner will be contacted personally.
- The draw is open to all children and young people aged 18 and
under who are residents of the UK, Isle of Man and Channel Islands,
excluding employees of the National Children’s Bureau or other
people involved in the organisation or running of the draw, or
their immediate families.
- The prize consists of one digital camera.
- There is no cash alternative.
- No purchase is necessary.
- By entering the draw, the Winner agrees to take part in any
publicity accompanying or resulting from this draw, and for his or
her name to be used for publicity purposes by NCB.
- It is a condition of entry that these terms and conditions are
accepted as final and that entrants agree to abide by the rules. No
correspondence will be entered in to.
- NCB accepts no responsibility for loss of entries though
technical fault, postal/transmission delays or incomplete or
illegible entries. Proof of electronic submission will not be
accepted as proof of receipt. If a dispute arises regarding who
submitted an entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the
owner of the email address given.
- NCB reserve the right at any time to cancel, modify or
supersede the prize draw (including altering prizes) if, in our
sole discretion, a prize draw is not capable of being conducted as
specified.
- What’s your adventure? entries may be
rejected in the sole discretion of NCB, including for reasons of
obscenity, defamation or invasion of privacy.
Playday is coordinated by Play England, working in partnership
with Play Wales, Play Scotland and Playboard Northern Ireland. Play
England is part of the National Children's Bureau (NCB), and is
