Let our children play

270 signatories have sent a letter to the Daily Telegraph,
concerning the marked decline in children’s play. The letter calls
for 'wide-ranging and informed public dialogue about the
intrinsic nature and value of play in children’s healthy
development, and how we might ensure its place at the heart of
twenty-first-century childhood.' Play England, Play Scotland, Play
Wales and PlayBoard Northern Ireland are amongst the
signatories.
