The 2008 Playday campaign theme was
Give us a go!
The campaign called for children to be allowed challenging
and adventurous play opportunities and aimed to shake off the
'cotton wool' culture that can limit children’s play.
The theme was unanimously agreed by the Playday steering group,
following consultation with Playday update subscribers,
children and wider play networks.
The 2009 campaign theme is currently undergoing consultation. If
you have any suggestions or if there are any issues you would like
to see incorporated into future Playday campaigns, please get in
