Join us down near the roundhouse for National Play Day 2019!

This year we are looking to make this bigger than ever, so make sure you come and join us for a day full of free fun activities! This year’s activities will include:

– Water slide to be set up on the amphitheatre near to the filter plant toilets with water hose clearly identified.

– All Stars Cricket on the flat ground to the rear of the filter plant toilets.

– Bug Hunt and pond dipping registration under the roundhouse

– The two community gazebos erected close to the performing circle in the amphitheatre

– Teddy Bears picnic area in the amphitheatre

– Buckets and spades in the sandpit

B-Active Family Fun Festival 2019

Announcing this year’s B-Active Family Fun Festival featuring National Playday and Cyclefest which is to be held on Wednesday 7th August 2019 12noon-4pm at west Glebe Park. There will be lots for families to do together following the theme of being active and having fun! The event is free to attend but refreshments are available to buy.
Included in this year’s activities are a Giant Sandpit, Water Slide, Children’s rides, Family Sport Day Races, Face Painting and Glitter Tattoos, Crazy Bikes, Garden Games, Bubble Station, and much more. BMX street show star Danny Butler will also be performing at the event and the Council Fitness team will be bringing Spin bikes for everyone to try out!
So come and join in and why not bring a picnic too! The event is funded by the Northamptonshire Community Foundation and is run as a partnership project with the Friends of West Glebe park and Corby Borough Council.
