Join the Friends of Plantation Wood and guests for a range of free activities in the woods.

Make the most of this beautiful natural space in the heart of King’s Lynn with bug hunts, rock painting and storytelling. If you haven’t been to the woods before, then why not come along and experience this Woodland Trust site for yourself. There is free access all year round.

If getting stuck in is more your thing then please come to our pre-event Clean Up on Monday 30th July 10:00-12:00 when the Friends will be giving the woods a good tidy. Sturdy shoes are essential and children must be supervised by a responsible adult. Bags, gloves and litter picking sticks are supplied. There will be free tea and coffee for all volunteers.

Parking is available on Parkway PE30 4QJ. The wood is accessed via a cycle path two houses down from King’s Oak Academy. Many cycle paths from the town centre, Hardwick Industrial Estate, Fairstead and King’s Lynn Reach all converge on the wood.

The main paths are all wheelchair and pushchair friendly. Please note there are no toilets on site.
