Aberdeen Play Forum is a charity devoted to promoting the child’s right to play in Aberdeen. This year we will be celebrating National Play Day in Union Terrace Gardens, providing activities such as: Loose Parts Play, Inflatable Obstacle Course, a variety of nature crafts, sensory play, and much much more! There’s no need to book or pay, just come along and play!
We are welcoming families to join us for a picnic in the North Edinburgh Arts Centre gardens (or inside the gallery if it’s raining!). After a bit of picnic food we will then play some classic Licketyspit games from our Playcard range. We encourage all adults to join in with the games and play alongside their children.
Our Playday events theme is Magic!!
There will be a children’s entertainer providing a show for families which is interactive and full of fun.
Before the Magic Show takes place, families can get involved in a shared art experience, designing the set of the magic show and making wands!
