Harpenden Teddy Bears Picnic – National Playday

The Town Council will be having its annual Teddy Bears’ Picnic in Lydekker Park (off Sun Lane) on Wednesday 7 August from 11am to 2pm.
This event will run alongside National Play Day. The park will be alive with Teddy Bears and their small owners, as they will be making the most of the sun and the FREE entertainment on offer.
The entertainment on the day includes, craft, wildlife activities, face painting, teddy bears hospital, sand art, circus skills, Storytime with Harpenden Library and lots more.
We will also be joined by the outdoor theatre company, Imajica Theatre who will be performing the Hartley Bear’s Picnic Adventure show –

Pop-up play in the park

Cafe will be open for drinks, ices and snacks.
