Bristol Playday 2016 – A celebration of cardboard construction!

Bristol Playday is part of the annual celebration of children’s right to play playday.org.uk.  Bristol Playday is on Wednesday 3rd August 12.00 – 4.00pm on College Green, Bristol in front of the Council House and is free!

The Bristol Play Network will be running the event in partnership with Bristol City Council – Bristol Youth Links.

This year Bristol Playday is a little different: we’ll be turning College Green into a giant cardboard construction site where you can build anything you want!

The Bristol Play Network and Bristol Youth Links decided it was time for something different on Playday: something that could capture the public’s imagination; something that would inspire children and adults to go away and think differently about play.

All the focus will be on playing with a huge quantity of cardboard, one activity for everyone to get involved in, families being creative and constructing something amazing in the heart of Bristol!

There will be plenty of boxes to climb in, crawl through, or help build a giant cardboard tower… so why not bring a picnic and help build a better city for play with the Bristol Play Network!
