National Playday – WRTW Newport!

Join the Woodland Routes to Wellbeing Play team in partnership with National Trust this Playday! Set at Tredegar House in the parkland, we’ll be having free activities and play opportunities running from 11am-3pm. Play sessions are running on Wednesday 3rd Aug AND Saturday 6th August.

Sit around the camp fire from 12pm – 1pm, play on the ‘slip n slide’ (weather permitting) at 2pm or try crafts, den building and tree climbing throughout the day. There’ll also be face painting and games. This year, WRTW have based many of their activities on traditional Welsh mythologies – so look out for fairy potions, wild art and a Mabinogion inspired trail!

National Play Day – Swansea

We will be having various arts and crafts opportunities, face painting, loose parts play, sport and health led activities, giant games, toddler zone, Welsh language led songs and rhymes, quiet sensory spaces, parachute games, circus skills, a giant earth ball and much more…
We also have a Quiet Hour (10am – 11am) for children and families that enjoy less noise and stimuli to participate in the play opportunities.
