Worcester Play Council are hosting a fun day celebration in conjunction with the National Play Day. The event will be an opportunity for families to come together and celebrate the importance of play in a child’s life.

The event will be full of fun and opportunity. Local organisations will be available to promote their services. Our theme for the day is “We’re all going on a summer holiday”.

There will be so many activities on offer including Face painting, bouncy castles, a whole area sectioned off for paddling pools and sprinklers so be sure to bring your swim wear.

The arts and Crafts area will include badge making, slime making and nail art.

The beach hut will offer the opportunity to make fruit kebabs and design your own fruit smoothies. Why not have a go at some of the traditional beach games such as French cricket, volleyball, swing ball or frisbee.

The day will have a fun but relaxed ambiance, we are hoping to book a brass band and have a picnic area sectioned off for families to sit and relax. If you forget your picnic basket, don’t worry, our local Pump House Café will have picnic bags on sale.

Small charges may apply for some activities.
