As part of National Play Day on Wednesday 2nd August 2023 come and enjoy a range of action-packed family-fun free activities. There will be a picnic area to enjoy a spot of lunch, face painting, glitter tattoos, crafting, as well as play equipment and a Best Dressed Bear Competition!

We will have lots of play equipment to support National Play Day’s theme this year, which is: Playing on a shoestring – making every day an adventure. This focuses on the everyday low-cost or no-cost play adventures that children can enjoy at home, in settings, and in our communities. Why not draw a hopscotch with our giant chalk or have a game of giant snakes and ladders? And of course, don’t forget about the Merrion Gardens playground!

Crafting by Pop Up & Play 11:00 – 15:00
Play Equipment 12:00 – 15:00
Face Painting & Glitter Tattoos by Pop up Pop In 12:00-15:00
Best Dressed Bear Competition 13:30 – 14:30
Come along to our sign-up table in Merrion Gardens between 13:30 and 14:30 for your teddy’s opportunity to win a wonderful prize.

There will be lots for your family to enjoy and all for free! https://www.leedsinspired.co.uk/events/teddy-bears-picnic
