Diwrnod Chwarae Wrecsam 2023

Bydd Wrecsam yn dathlu’r Diwrnod Chwarae Cenedlaethol, a gynhelir yng nghanol tref Wrecsam, ddydd Mercher 2 Awst rhwng 12:00 a 4:00, ar Sgwâr y Frenhines a Llwyn Isaf (cae Neuadd y Dref).

Gwahoddir pobl o bob oedran gan gynnwys babanod a phlant bach, plant hŷn a phobl ifanc, rhieni, gweithwyr proffesiynol a neiniau a theidiau, i ymuno yn y digwyddiad hwyliog rhad ac am ddim hwn. Bydd sefydliadau o bob rhan o Wrecsam, sy’n ymwneud â chwarae a gwaith chwarae, yn dod ynghyd i ddarparu ystod eang o gyfleoedd chwarae, gan gynnwys hen ffefrynnau megis pwll tywod enfawr, cyfle i daflu dŵr a chwarae â sothach.

Bwriad y digwyddiad hwn yw pwysleisio hawl plant i chwarae, gan annog pobl i gydnabod gwerth chwarae i blant, eu teuluoedd a’u cymunedau lleol. Wrth wneud hyn, mae digwyddiad diwrnod chwarae Wrecsam yn rhan o ymrwymiad parhaus yr awdurdod lleol i geisio sicrhau bod pob plentyn ar draws y fwrdeistref sirol yn cael digon o amser, lle a chaniatâd i chwarae.
Y cyfan rydym ni’n ei ofyn i chi yw dod yn barod i gael hwyl gyda dillad y gallwch eu gwlychu a’u baeddu. Yn y gorffennol mae teuluoedd wedi dod â phicnic er mwyn aros drwy’r prynhawn!

Wrexham Playday 2023

Wrexham will once again be celebrating National Playday with an event held in Wrexham town centre, on Wednesday 2nd August from 12:00 to 4:00 on Queen Square and Llwyn Isaf (the Guildhall field).

Playday is for people of all ages including babies and toddlers, older children, teenagers, parents, professionals and grandparents, all are invited to join in this free and playful event. Organisations involved in children’s play and playwork from across Wrexham will be coming together to provide a wide range of playful opportunities, including favourites like the giant sandpit, mass water fight, and junk play.

The aim of this event is to highlight children’s right to play, encouraging people to recognise the value of playing to children, their families and their local communities. In doing this Wrexham’s Playday event is part of the local authority’s continued commitment to try ensure all children across the county borough have enough time, space and permission to play.
All we ask is that you bring along a playful mood and some clothes you don’t mind getting wet and messy. In the past families have brought along picnics and stayed all afternoon!
