Celebrating National Play Day
We are thrilled to invite all of you to a day of pure joy and togetherness as we celebrate National Play Day at Wicksteed Park on August 2nd!
You can expect lawn games, crafts, fitness circuits and more! We hope to see you there!
Playday at Ilam Park
Join us at Ilam Park for a day full of playing. Build a box den, pretend to be a gardener, have a go at soft archery, try a game of croquet, add your mark to our giant picture and lots more going on. Join in anytime between 10am – 3pm. Follow the signs from the car park to the Play Garden. Activities suitable for all ages and step free access.

Redrow Summer of Play event – Newton Garden Village
To celebrate National Playday on 2nd August, we’re holding a play event on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th July from 10am to 5pm. Bring your children along for lots of summer fun and they’ll each receive their own play pack and the opportunity to try some new games, all while you enjoy the refreshments.
East Staffordshire Playday
Free activities for all children including: inflatables, a magic show, sports activities and demonstrations, many community organisations, groups and clubs to talk to.
Snapdragon Children’s Festival
Free to attend event with workshops, have a go sports, bandstand entertainment, giant sandpit, crafts and much more.
